Tasia Henderson, DNP is a forward-thinking provider who has practiced in the areas of alternative medicine/psychiatry/primary care for over 12+ years. Dr. Henderson is licensed as a psychiatric and family nurse practitioner in over 15 states. She has received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice from the University of Rhode Island.
Dr. Henderson has managed clients in both the inpatient and outpatient sectors. She specializes in treatment of ADHD, Bipolar disorders, Depression, Anxiety as well as OCD, Substance Abuse and Alternative medicine therapies. She has mentored and taught students at some of the major Universities across the United States including the University of Rhode Island.
She values a comprehensive approach to mental health to help individuals realize their positive attributes as they strive for improved health, wellness & healing. While medication is an important component of treatment, she offers a holistic approach to mental health, which includes healthy lifestyle habits such as sleep, proper diet & nutrition, good hygiene, and exercise.

Your individualized treatment plan will begin at the first visit.
Treatment may include a combination of:
Early in treatment:
Psychotherapy Patients are typically seen weekly or biweekly depending on clinical need.
Medication management only Patients (with supportive therapy):
Visits are generally scheduled every two weeks, then monthly once stable.
Patients prescribed controlled substances:
Must be seen monthly for the first year, then quarterly once stable.
Appointments are scheduled at the end of each visit to ensure continuity of care.
If a medication is needed, it will be sent to your pharmacy at the end of the visit.
