If staying focused feels harder than it should, or you are constantly working twice as hard just to keep up, you are not alone. Many adults and young professionals reach out to us feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, and quietly wondering whether ADHD could explain long-standing challenges with attention, organization, or emotional regulation. At St. James TMS & Psychiatry, we offer comprehensive ADHD diagnosis and treatment online for clients in New Brunswick, New Jersey, with care that is thoughtful, respectful, and grounded in understanding your full story.
We believe ADHD evaluations should provide clarity, not confusion. That is why our approach goes beyond surface-level questionnaires. Led by Dr. Tasia Henderson, DNP, PMHNP, FNP, our practice combines clinical expertise with objective tools and compassionate conversation. We take time to understand how your symptoms show up in daily life, work, relationships, sleep, and emotional well-being, so any diagnosis or treatment plan feels accurate and meaningful.
Our focus is not just identifying ADHD, but helping you understand your brain and move forward with confidence.
Our ADHD Precision Program follows a clear, supportive structure designed to reduce guesswork and increase confidence in the results. Most clients complete the process in two to four visits.
We begin with a comprehensive virtual ADHD evaluation. During this session, we review your symptoms, personal history, daily functioning, mood, sleep patterns, and prior treatments. This allows us to explore whether ADHD is present and identify any additional factors that may be contributing.
When appropriate, we include QbCheck, an FDA-cleared computerized assessment that objectively measures attention, impulsivity, and movement. These results are compared to those of individuals your age with and without ADHD, offering added clarity.
For some clients, QEEG brain mapping is also recommended. This non-invasive recording of brainwave activity is not a standalone diagnosis, but it can highlight areas of overactivity or underactivity that help guide individualized treatment planning. While evaluations are completed online, QEEG is conducted in person.
We work with individuals age 16 and older who may be experiencing:
